Lauren Leclerc (PWS)

Senior Scientist/Planner

Lauren Leclerc is a Manager of Environmental Planning and Projects at Flycatcher LLC, bringing over twenty years of experience in environmental consulting. A graduate of the University of Maine, Lauren began her career trapsing around the woods, fields and powerline corridors of Maine delineating wetlands, streams and vernal pools. Soon thereafter she began permitting projects on the local, state and federal levels from small-scale subdivisions to large-scale linear powerline projects in Maine, New York and Ohio.

Currently, Lauren manages and permits grid-scale solar energy projects in Maine. She also enjoys providing document technical review and new employee mentorship. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and expertise with clients and colleagues to meet project objectives while balancing impacts to natural resources.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, two children, and their rambunctious Australian shepherd puppy, Fawkes (of the phoenix of Harry Potter fame). She enjoys hiking, birding, mentoring girls through Girl Scouts, knitting and baking.
