GIS Analyst/Project Management Support - RELISTED
We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support our Lead Analyst (Drew Kenworthy) and support our diverse array of projects and plans throughout the northeast. This person may also provide support in Project Management and development outside of GIS, depending on need, experience and individual career goals. If you are interested and check most of the boxes on the following list, this might be you!
- Competence in current ESRI Software Suite: Pro/Desktop/Mobile
- Competence in basic GIS-based analysis methods and cartographic principles
- Experience producing high-quality hardcopy and digital deliverables
- Experience creating and maintaining webmaps for data collection and project visualization
- Experience in energy or environmental permitting/siting/development
- Basic understanding of GPS devices and mobile data collection

Soil Scientist/Site Evaluator/Wetland Scientist/Field Lead/Associate Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced scientist with a focus on someone that possesses Maine licenses as a soil scientist (LSS) and/or site evaluator (LSE). Other skills required are being a proficient wetland delineator and experience as a stormwater and erosion and sedimentation control inspector. The right candidate should have great written and personal communication skills, a focus for producing high-quality work, a natural curiosity for learning, and an appetite for taking on new challenges and finding solutions. You should have experience performing natural resource surveys, including wetland delineations and vernal pool assessments; soil surveys, leading field teams, mapping habitat types, collecting GPS data, analyzing data, performing site evaluations, and compiling reports. Additionally, preference will be given to any candidate with direct experience supporting development of local, state and federal permit applications, especially in Maine.

Short-term travel will be required from time to time and long term travel is a possibility if interested. The successful candidate should have a valid US driver's license with a clean record, good references, and be able to walk for long distances on rugged terrain in varied climatic conditions.
