Katelin Nickerson (PWS/NHCWS)

Partner/Project Director

Katelin Nickerson is a Project Director and partner at Flycatcher. With over 17 years of experience, she provides support for a range of ecological surveys, local, state and federal permitting, and project management. Katelin is a Professional Wetland Scientist, and a New Hampshire Certified Wetland Scientist. She spent the early years of her career establishing herself as a field biologist completing natural resource surveys, wetland delineation, wildlife surveys, and resource assessments; this experience, along with her work with compliance monitoring and third-party inspection serves as the foundation for her current role as Project Director.

Katelin enjoys working with a variety of clients from large and small-scale energy developers, utilities, land trusts, municipalities, and many others. This diversity of work allows her to build partnerships, make connections, and bring the most to every project. She enjoys helping clients find the best path forward to meet their project goals with the least environmental impact and in accordance with the applicable land use regulations for each site.

Outside of work Katelin enjoys flyfishing, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her pup. She is currently serving on several committees for the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists and is on the board of directors for Granite Backcountry Alliance.
